The investment objective of the scheme will be to replicate the Nifty 500 Value 50 Index by investing in securities of the Nifty 500 Value 50 Index in the same proportion/weightage with an aim to provide returns before expenses that track the total return of Nifty 500 Value 50 Index, subject to tracking errors.
Large companies have strong promoters and experienced management personnel and typically have been in the business for a longer time. They are tracked by both Indian institutional as well as foreign investors and hence there is higher transparency and availability of reports on the performance and outlook of these companies in the public domain.
Equity mutual funds experienced a 16% decrease in March inflows, totaling Rs 22,633.15 crore. Sectoral/thematic funds led with Rs 7,917.72 crore inflows, while smallcap funds faced outflows of Rs 94.17 crore.
