Oil terminal donates to local charities

EIGHT local charities have received donations from EnQuest on behalf of the owners of Sullom Voe Terminal (SVT). Two charities, Shetland Women’s Aid and NHS Endowment Macmillan/Oncology received £1,000 donations. CLAN Cancer Support were awarded £600, as were Ability.

Government commits funding to SVT hydrogen plant study

THE UK Government has pledged funding towards a study into the creation of a green hydrogen plant at Sullom Voe Terminal (SVT). The study is for a 50MW plant, but it would have potential expansion to 300MW over phases. The funding is going to Veri Energy, a subsidiary of SVT.

Enquest delivers 'another good year' of operational performance

Exploration and production company Enquest said on Thursday that it had delivered "another good year of operational performance" in 2023, with production averaging 43,812 barrels of oil equivalent per day, in line with the mid-point of guidance.
