The High Court in London ruled today that the UK government’s agency worker regulations are unlawful, after a successful legal challenge by 13 trade unions.
Kwasi Kwarteng, who was business secretary at the time, was criticised by the judge for the way in which the change of the law was introduced. The challenge was brought by a group of more than 10 unions.
