they want a strong voice for management and a way for employees to get their incentives when they sit down with management because it gives them a little bit of power. if you don t think people in the employee sector need power, too, i don t think the history quite backs that up. if you look at the history, that s right. public unions now. some say they take money from all taxpayers. ezra, they are taking from public payrolls, if you will, and only benefiting a few. it gets a little implicated when you get into their pay. a couple of suddenys done recently. . we find is this. for public employeees not very highly educated and not making much money they seem to make more money than in the private sector. but for public employees who have a law degree, a medical degree, who are doing sort of work on the top, they make a lot less than they would in the private sector. there is, at the bottom level a wage premium and at the top level a wage hit. you can say it s a good or a bad thing.
