Vermont Business Magazine Governor Phil Scott announced action on the following bills, passed by the General Assembly. These include bills related to promoting equity in the health care system and related to hate-motivated crimes. He also signed S42, which creates a Commission to address the mental health care service and support needs of emergency service providers.

An act relating to restrictions on perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances and other chemicals of concern in consumer products

Vermont weather is always a source of conversation and it has not disappointed so far in April, but I am hopeful we have finally turned the corner to spring. We are also turning the corner in the legislative session and are seeing the end draw near. Which means a lot of activity in committees and the House floor.
