An Elsmere man has received a 15-year prison sentence for his guilty plea to child abuse and human trafficking of a minor for forced labor, according to the Delaware Attorney
Witnesses to an incident in Elsmere have told police that a woman was forced into a vehicle against her will Wednesday. The driver fled from the scene.
Dempsey Walters, a Corporal assigned to Troop 6 in Wilmington, was indicted by a state Grand Jury Monday on two felonies and four misdemeanors for Assault and Deprivation of Civil Rights, after he was caught on body camera violently harming two minors, including punching one in the face while they sat in a squad car.
