Bourne official complains to state about Open Meeting Law violation

BOURNE The chair of the Bourne Planning Board filed a complaint with the state attorney general s office earlier this month, saying that a member of his board had violated the state s Open Meeting Law.  “I really felt I had no other choice but to file the complaint,” board Chair Steven Strojny said Thursday.  He acknowledged the situation is a distraction that is a shame and embarrassment  to the board, which has many other agenda items and projects to work on. The complaint was filed on Feb. 9, after Strojny warned member Elmer Clegg on multiple occasions that he was violating the law.
