Reporter 2019 has had the highest number of Border Apprehensions in a decade. The Trump Administration believes we could see over 1 million apprehensions made for the First Time Since 2006. A source tells fox news there have been over 504,000 apprehensions so far in fiscal year 2019. To put this in perspective, that number is already higher than what we have seen in every four years since 2009. We four months left in the fiscal year. This april saw the highest number of apprehensions in a single month in 12 years. There were more than 98,000 immigrants apprehended in april, trying to cross the border illegally. Thats up 159 compared to aprl of last year when 38,000 immigrants were apprehended. The majority are from central america.
