You can kind of see it there, coming into view. Now, the bricks are part of the manhole. And a lot of those were blown away. But you can see the gentleman is standing by with a manhole cover. That was blown off of its location, over those bricks by the force of that water. There was a lot of debris on the road. Cleanup is going to be extensive. And a deadline to raise the nations debt limit, just nine days away. Lets stop the excuses. Lets take a vote in the house. Lets end this shutdown right now. Lets put people back to work. Reporter the president called House Speaker john boehner tuesday morning, reiterating, hes willing to talk about the budget after Congress Passes bills to fund the government and increase the debt limit. Without any conditions. Members of congress and the House Republicans in particular dont get to demand ransom in exchange for doing their jobs. Reporter Speaker Boehner said he does not have the votes to pass a clean, temporary spending bill or raise the debt limit. He wants the president to sit down and negotiate.
