Two Fredericton vape shop owners entered pleas in provincial court Wednesday in response to charges that they sold flavoured vape products in violation of a recently enacted law prohibiting the sale of any product that mimics the taste of anything besides tobacco.
Opponents to the ban on the sale of flavoured vaping products are making a second attempt to suspend the recently enacted law while their case against it makes its way through the courts.
Flavoured vape liquid ban bill passes second reading
An opposition bill that would ban flavoured vape liquids has passed second reading in the New Brunswick Legislature. Bill 17 was introduced last fall and received unanimous support after a debate Thursday.
