So the strip of land that was formed was called the toledo strip and the toledo strip was actually formed by two different surveys and that difference is like a wedge shaped strip that was five miles wide and what we know is the indiana border today and eight miles wide by the time it reached lake erie. So its kind of this pie shaped 450 square mile wedge that became the toledo strip that ohio and michigan really started to wrangle over.
