MILTON  Town meeting approved budgets for all municipal departments and other spending requests during its second session Tuesday night.
While some of the requests prompted discussion and questions for town officials, town meeting followed the recommendations of the warrant committee and no changes were proposed.
Only the $54.7 million school budget remains to be acted on, along with a recommendation that no money be added to the affordable housing trust this year.
The $77 million in spending approved by town meeting included one new position, an assistant director of public health, which the warrant committee recommended due to the department s workload.
Two currently vacant positions in the police department will not be filled. ....
