Long-standing local bookstore Pea Picker Bookstore announced via a Facebook post earlier this month it will be closing its doors after 48 years in business.
The Smith County Road and Bridge Department will relocate to a new facility next year once the construction of two buildings at East Erwin Street and South Southeast Loop 323
