It happened quickly in the claremont canyon area of the Berkeley Hills. We talked to the owner of a doughnut shop. Hes been here since 1987. He experienced the 89 earthquake and he said this is no comparison. This was a minor, minor little jolt. It was definitely noticeable. Heres how he described it. Its like, you know, somebody is knocking it back a little bit. I saw a sign was moving. Okay, here we go again.
