Local clothing and home accessory designers will attend this activity to show off their repurposed items, along with their exhibits. These include “ScrapTheCatWalk” by Georgia Arlene, a returning festival co-sponsor, and exhibits by John Coburn, Yaa Rivera and Alisen Williams.
During this year s event, the educational area will include workshops on composting, climate change and landscaping. A round table discussion on local recycling and other topics will also be featured. And local dulcimer players, flute musicians and educational and civic groups will perform throughout the festival.
