And practice of sexually abusing them in the words of the jury today that can breakthrough. and jeez point was that, it s not clear that s definitely there s no rule that that has to be the case. i m just not clear that if republican entered this into the epidemic universe of at least focus group people that they might find a sort of upsetting what he is alleged to have done to e. jean carroll. yeah, the problem is that the voters have kind of made their peace with compartmentalizing donald trump as a person who they acknowledge is not a good person. and this is where they say, oh, i don t like his tweets. i don t like his behavior. i don t like his mouth. i like his policies. i think he was a good president. so, i have never understood this. as a republican, i found this stuff disqualifying from the jump. but i have listened to voters over the years, absolutely separate this in their minds. sure. and i do think a lot of it is baked.
Tremendous amount of personal cost to her, her time, her name, her reputation, relentlessly pursued this verdict. she testified. she re-told her story, time and time again, for three days. she faced questioning from trump s attorney, joe tacopina, who has to repeatedly why she did not scream when the assault took place, and why she did not go to the police, and why it took her several years to publicly come forward. she told the jury she did not want to tell her story, that she was quote, afraid donald trump would retaliate, which is exactly what he did. one of my biggest fears came absolutely true. he has two tables full of lawyers here today. carroll brought forth 11 witnesses, who not only corroborated her story but also established a pattern of behavior by trump. for his part, donald trump refused to even attend his trial. instead, he took a vacation in scotland, although he was very, very tough from across the ocean about how he was going to come back and confront his accuser, whi
