Woman busted with drugs days after sentence

The illegal drug was stashed inside a first aid kit on the back seat of her Holden Commodore. Two weeks later Green was again busted with marijuana in her car. She was charged and sentenced before Ipswich Magistrates Court on Wednesday. Renae Louise Green, 30, from Goodna, pleaded guilty to five charges including possession of 66 grams marijuana at Booval on November 23 last year; possession of drug utensils; possession of ice on December 15; possession of drug utensils; and failing to take reasonable care with a used syringe.

Premium Content Subscriber only A Central Queensland teenager’s quick thinking saved the life of his friend who suffered a drug overdose at Nebo. Samuel Caleb Christensen, 19, and CJ Warren Single, 18, fronted Moranbah Magistrates Court on March 11 for three drug-related offences. Police prosecutor Sergeant Paul Cramp said police and paramedics were called to a Water Street address at Nebo on October 2, 2020, in response to a reported drug overdose. Christensen called triple-0 after Single took acid, the court heard. Queensland Ambulance Service aided Single, who suffered a drug induced episode and was taken to Mackay Hospital. On arrival at the Nebo address, Police located 27 cannabis seeds, 1.8g of cannabis buds, two pipes and a bag containing a single tab of acid (LSD), Sergeant Cramp said.

Repeat offender found with sword before stabbing

Quinn Daoud was sentenced to 10 months in prison on Thursday after he pleaded guilty in Maroochydore District Court to 26 charges including three counts of possessing a knife, four counts of driving without a license and one count of unlawfully entering a vehicle to commit and indictable offence. It comes after Daoud was sentenced to three years in prison on February 2 for one count of unlawful wounding another person on July 13 last year.

Bag of cannabis lands Biloela man in court

A bag of 16.4 grams of cannabis was found in the living room, along with scissors which had cannabis remnants on them, and a bowl containing chopped cannabis. A court heard Hodgson would not answer any questions from the police officers present and he was subsequently issued a notice to appear. Ms Lane told the court Hodgson had a concerning criminal history related to the use and possession of dangerous drugs and Ms Beckinsale obliged. “If you keep using this drug and are brought before the court, next time we are not talking fines. It is an illegal drug and you will be prosecuted for that,” Ms Beckinsale said.
