Rochester Teenager Sentenced For Murder Conviction

Rochester Teenager Sentenced For Murder Conviction Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester teenager was sentenced today for a drug-related homicide. 19-year-old Robert Salley was given a sentence of 17 1/2 years in prison for shooting and killing 24-year-old Trevor Boysen in January of last year. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in January of this year. Salley also admitted to a felony weapons-related charge and was given a concurrent five-year prison sentence for that conviction. He was arrested after Rochester police responded to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of The Quarters Apartment complex near the Rochester Community and Technical College campus and found Boysen fatally shot outside a vehicle and a half-dozen spent shell casings at the scene. A surveillance video shows Salley getting into the car and then firing a gun at the car right after he exited the vehicle. The video also shows Boysen getting out of the car and collapsing in the parking lot.
