Missing, and that is industry sentiment. tell us more about that. a lot of times when we look at the current price of oil it reflects not only the oil we have on hand today, but what we might have tomorrow. just like, you know, the gasoline in your tank, right. you fill it up with today s price but you have to worry what you are going to pay next week and retailers have to do that. the biden administration has actively told people don t invest in the u.s. industry, if you invest in the keystone pipeline forget about it, we can cancel that with an executive order or impose new drilling regulations, so the investment is turned away. i would argue, john, that if the biden administration wasn t in place, we would see the u.s. oil industry respond a lot quicker than it has. because they have created such
Ways, but when you talk about some of the drilling regulations that he put in, that will tie him up in court. so there are some obstacles that he s put in his way to try to save his legacy. and also just trying to preserve some of the things that he s done, and when it comes to russia, it s like he s trying to slow down the process. this is an executive action, he can swipe it away his first day in office. that will create a lot of heartburn on the hill with hill republicans and democrats. so a little of a trip wire for him. no question. it s going to be a battle. thank you very much. we ll have much more news just after this.
and now these concerns, they will not go away, the health care regulations are not going away. financial regulations are not going away. energy, drilling regulations, not going away. are you saying the outlook for full time real good, full time jobs is still grim for as far as the eye can see? i wouldn t say really grim. i am somewhat optimistic about what jobs are going to be and i think we will get a big number next month on jobs and you are starting to see hiring which is a good thing after two years of 9 percent or 10 percent unemployment but what is happening is because there is so much caution out there among employers, they are willing to hire part time and temporary workers because those are people that are easy to lay off if business conditions fall but the good news, there is a silver lining, and that is that businesses hire part time and temporary workers before they start to hire, taking the real plunge and hiring full time workers so we will hope that
