you are live in the cnn newsroom. i m jim acosta. in gaza, the israel-hamas war enters its 30th day. we ve been watching these images come in tonight of many explosions near the gaza-israel border. it is not clear yet what caused these blasts. they happened within the last 30 minutes or so. in just 30 minutes or so, in a separate area, a cnn team witnessed eight rockets being fired from gaza into israel. the idf tell israel, six. eight rockets were intercepted. israeli police say there are no reports of casualties just yet. in the meantime, israel s call for civilians in gaza to move south as it intensifies its air and ground assault on gaza city. they are calling for evacuations on roads heavily damaged and without a pause in the fighting, hamas is blocking foreign nationals from leaving gaza through the rafah crossing into egypt. havoc is allowing that israel allow ambulances to reach the crossing. an egyptian source says more than 700 foreign nationals were expected to c
