A total of 87 migrants were brought into the harbour at Dover in Kent yesterday after being intercepted at sea, bringing the total of illegal crossings so far for 2023 to 3,767.
The migrants were rescued off the coast of Pas-de-Calais and taken back to France yesterday afternoon. In the evening, other migrants (pictured), including women and a baby, arrived at Dover.
Ibrahima Bah, 19, of no fixed address, has been charged with facilitating attempted illegal entry to the UK after four people died when a migrant boat capsized in the Channel on Wednesday.
