You can see that there is still they are pouring water and also into the Shopping Center, where the fire has started, now this story is developing but i will tell you that crews were dispatched before 3 am and when they got here they said that there were no flames visible, just heavy smoke. They had to evacuate a mobile home nearby because there was so much smoke and they were afraid that the flames could reach that Mobile Home Park. This is still a very active scene. Crews are working to put out to the fire in they have the fire contained inside the Grocery Store where they believe that the fire started take a listen to what the fire captain on the scene had to say. The first place that we saw flames is when they broke through the roof on the backside of the building and started threatening the Mobile Home Park. We evacuated some of the homes from there. The shooter, a 20yearold man, is dead. This is the fifth mass shooting to lead this broadcast since june, and ben tracy begins our coverage. This is an active shooter at yuck. Reporter the first call came in at 10 38 this morning, an active shooter on the campus of this Southern Oregon Community College. Reporter students say the gunfire lasted for at least a minute as officers arrived on scene. Reporter and then silence. Reporter Douglas County sheriff john hanlin the shooter threat was neutralized and officers continued to sweep the campus, looking for other threats.
