City crews are doing preps of their own to provide a safe and beautiful racecourse for local athletes and those from out of town, that will be participating on Saturday.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â The 45th annual Beach to Bay Relay Marathon has been postponed until October 30, 2021 due to COVID-19.
The event was originally scheduled for May of 2020, but was then rescheduled to May 2021.
In a release, the race committee said that due to the âcurrent situation with illness and the vaccination rate, the committee feels that moving the race to the fall is bestâ.
Registration for the event remains open, and teams that have already entered the race in 2020 and 2021 are all ready to go.
