Another two racers have died in a crash at the Targa Tasmania event, after another fatal crash yesterday morning.
The crash happened on Wattle Grove Road, Cygnet, just before midday, around 200m from the Cygnet Coast Road intersection.
Tasmania Police confirmed both the driver and co-driver died at the scene.
The accident comes less than 24 hours after NSW racer Shane Navin died when his 1979 Mazda RX-7 rolled on the Lyell Highway near Double Barrel Creek about 35 kilometres into the race.
Mr Navin s co-driver Glenn Evans was not injured in yesterday s crash. This has been a devastating few days for the Targa family, Targa Australia CEO, Mark Perry said.

According to The Mercury, the crash occurred on the second half of Mount Arrowsmith, which was plagued by wet weather at the time of the incident. Tasmania Police confirmed a crash had taken place on social media. Police and emergency services remain on the scene of a serious single vehicle crash on the Lyell Highway near Double Barrel Creek, the Facebook post reads.
