Im denise nakano. The man was on a boat earlier this afternoon when he jumped into the water to go swimming. He never resurfaced. Crews found his body around 8 30 tonight. Randy gyllenhaal is live near the National Park with the latest. Randy, what have you learned . Reporter denise, were standing on the beach here at National Park. Its directly across the coverriver from Philadelphia International airport. There is an island behind me thats popular with boaters. Earlier this afternoon, one man on a boat decided to jump off for a swim but never resurfaced. Rescue crews spent more than eight hours today on the water looking for this man on the delaware river. Coast guard and crews were on the water for most of the day. They found his body about 8 30 tonight. Witnesses telling authorities that the man jumped off the back of the boat but could not swim. A passing jet ski tried to help by throwing a life vest into the water. The jet ski tried to save him, but it was too late. He went under
