Nigeria Disburses Over N135Billion To States, Federal Capital Territory Under COVID-19 Action Recovery Programme

The Nigerian government has announced the reimbursement of over N135 billion to states and the Federal Capital Territory under the Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) Programme. The Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Sen. Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, disclosed this in a signed publication obtained by SaharaReporters on Friday. Bagudu noted that the NG-CARES Programme is a $750 million World Bank-assisted Multi-Sectoral Intervention Programme.
