During a four-day trial, the defence had tried to argue that the building needed to be flattened due to structural issues. The pub was believed to have been built in 1793 and haunted by the ghost of Ned King.
The Punch Bowl Inn, in Hurst Green, Lancashire, was demolished in June last year before plans to turn it into a caravan site were rejected. Now the owner has been ordered to rebuild it stone by stone.
