Amanda Bridgman, Staff Writer Monday, April 12, 2021 9:33 PM A 50-year-old Marion woman died in a crash Saturday night on Ind. 15 near Claypool and has been identified by police.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Chris Francis said police responded at 10:23 p.m. Saturday to Ind. 15, north of CR 550S in Clay Township to a head-on collision.
According to the preliminary results of the ongoing investigation by the KCSO Fatal Team, James C. Lewis, 44, of Elkhart, was driving a 2005 Ford Explorer north on Ind. 15 and crossed over the center line.
Lewis’ vehicle collided with a southbound 1998 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Donald G. Galbraith, 48, of Marion.
A 42-year-old man is dead after a mobile home fire in Kosciusko County, the sheriff s office said in a news release Monday.
