still green for drivers. a 10 minute ride into san francisco. back over to you. well today, house represcribes are expected to pass their plan to overhaul the nation s tax code. then the senate will vote and likely send the bill to the president for his signature. here s what s included. the corporate tax rate will decrease to 21%. the standard deduction will increase to $12,000 for individuals, and 24,000 for couples. but the personal exception is eliminated, which will offset a large chunk of those savings for many people. homeowners with new mortgages can duct interest on the first $750,000, which is down from the current $1 million. the child tax credit will double to $2,000, and the individual health care mandate is eliminated. that s projected to increase premiums by 10% and result in 1 million more people without insurance over the next decade. and a new nonpartisan announcement is predicting that the bill will raise taxes for 5% of taxpayers next year. over half o
