powell. powell does have a clue, i thought. biden has never been the sharpest on the economy. is that larry summers, you know, steve ratner, all of these liberal economists that were saying last year, we re going to have massive inflation if you don t stop spending. we re going to have massive inflation if you don t stop printing money. then the only cure for massive inflation is to induce a recession that could be deep. the reason why you do that is because when you have massive inflation, it destroys the fabric of society. it s like being in a recession or depression. so you try to kill it. i hate to put it this way, it s like chemotherapy. the only thing that works and it hurts. that s what we re going through now. we re only doing this because joe biden was so cynical that he wanted to be more progressive than obama and powell wanted his job for another term. it s scary.
