According to notices sent by the city, demolition work on the Edward Street house was being done without a permit. But Dalhousie University, which owns the house, says it does not consider the work to be demolition that requires a permit.

Carol Jones won the Week 19 drawing of The Right Turn’s Touching Hearts 50/50 fundraising raffle.
She drew the 8 of Clubs yesterday (April 13, 2021) and received $50. There were 34 cards remaining in the deck and the take-home prize would have been $1915.
The fundraiser continues with a new drawing every week until the Ace of Hearts is drawn. Raffle tickets can be purchased at both Lynn’s Dakotamarts, Branding Iron Bistro, Don’s Sinclair, Fieldhouse and Lariat Lanes.
