A man who fell to his death from Miners Castle on Saturday has been identified as a 21-year-old metro Detroit resident, according to a report fromMLive.
The National Park Service and Alger County Sheriff responded after a man fell near the upper viewing platform at around 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, according to a news release from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
Officials identified the victim as Dominic Rotondi, of Lincoln Park, who was visiting the area with friends when he stepped over a barrier at the top of the Miners Castle and fell 100 feet onto the cliff face below and into Lake Superior, MLive reported.
