after the house speaker s husband was violently assaulted during a home invasion, we re told. what we know about his condition and the man maybe behind that assault. welcome, even, i m neil cavuto and yet another busy weekend as we get closer to the midterms. but growing questions as to how the speaker of the house s husband could get so brutal brutally attacked in his own home. she was, of course, in washington. she s with him now in san francisco. mark meredith has more. reporter: investigators have yet to say what they believe motivated the attack, but police believe the break hip and the assault inside the speaker s california home was intentional. police say it was around 2:30 friday morning when 42-year-old david depape allegedly broke into the speaker s san francisco home through a back door. he was reportedly shouting where s nancy, but the speaker, as you said, was not there. she was in d.c. it was her husband that was in the house. investors believe 82-year-old pa
