The events will be timed to the 76th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, BelTA learned from Dmitry Voronyuk, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the BRSM Youth Union and member of the Council of the Republic. “It is important to preserve the link between generations, pass the memory on to the youth, and thwart attempts to distort the historical truth about the role and heroism of the Soviet people during the Great Patriotic War.
