서울 살피미 앱은 대상자 핸드폰의 버튼 조작, 화면터치 등을 감지하여 지정 시간(6~72시간) 동안 핸드폰 사용이 없을 경우, 지정된 보호자에게 자동으로 구호 메시지를 보내는 기능을 하는 앱이다.
구는 서울 살피미 앱을 활용하여 코로나19로 인한 대면 안부 확인 서비스의 한계를 극복하고, 상시 모니터링을 통해 신속하게 취약계층의 안전 상황에 대응하고자 사업을 실시하게 됐다고 밝혔다.
