(NEWTON) The Jasper County School Board held its rescheduled regular monthly meeting for February earlier this week in Newton. The Board : approved the payment of all bills as presented : heard a presentation on the District’s School Report Card : heard an update on the District’s proposed building project : approved a resolution for the TRS Supplemental Savings Plan Employer Participation Agreement : approved various personnel moves – accepted the resignations from NCHS History Teacher/Cheer Coach Emily Flach, from part-time NCHS Art Teacher Norma Swisher, from part-time Bus Driver Randy Chapman, and from Newton Elementary Lunchroom Supervisor Jody Dhom – agreed to move Curt McCoy from a part-time to a full-time Bus Driver – agreed to hire Megan McClard as a NCHS History Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year – agreed to advertise for a District Counselor, NCHS Art Teacher, and NCHS History Te
