The mural proposed for a building on East Washington Street, near Columbus Circle, will feature four of the city’s most significant basketball stars: Breanna Stewart, Earl Lloyd Jr., Dolph Schayes, and Manny Breland.

We like public art (and basketball) as much as anyone, but a mural is just about the last thing we’d buy with the $123 million windfall coming from Washington.
