Quebec’s biggest locally owned music distributor will shut its doors this summer amid continued declines in sales of physical discs.
Québecor Inc. is planning an “orderly discontinuation of operations” at its Distribution Select arm effective July 2 to focus on activities such as music publishing and concert production, the Montreal-based media, entertainment and telecom conglomerate said Tuesday in a statement.
