To promote handlooms, a two-week state handloom expo 'Hathkargha Varanasi' is being organised by the Directorate of Handloom and Textile Industries, UP at Urban Haat, Cultural Complex in Chowkaghat area from January 15. The expo, which will continue till January 28, has been sponsored by the Development Commissioner (Handloom), Ministry of Textiles. Free stalls have been allotted to societies and organisations to display their handcrafted goods. ....
