as i said, they are where zahra, the owner of were of café international, and in immigrant who can create new opportunities for themselves and countless employees. well we know that small businesses in san francisco employ more than 350,000 people, and make up 95% of our businesses, and generates millions of dollars for our economy, what i love most about our small businesses is the opportunities that they create for the people. the opportunity to grow a community, grow our skills, and grow our people our future. from here in my home district of the western addition, lower hate neighborhood, out to the excelsior. we have hosted roundtable meetings with small business forms to provide faces spaces were businesses can talk about their concerns and their challenges. today, i am so excited to announce that we are working to make it easier for small businesses to not only survive in san francisco, but to thrive in san francisco. that is what today s announcement is all about.
