Last year was a heady one for Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Its riveting programming included such high profile exhibits as "Diego Rivera s America" and "Annie Leibovitz At Work" making the museum the first in history to partner with Leibovitz on a commission. Fresh potential is redolent in its halls as ongoing construction, scheduled to be completed later this year, will add 100,000 square feet onto the existing 200,000-square-foot campus. And in July 2023, the museum announced a $7 million grant from the Walmart Foundation, ensuring free general admission for Crystal Bridges through 2028.
