The United Way of Becker County's annual "Celebration of Heroes" on Thursday, April 28 recognized Detroit Lakes student Hannah Barberg and Frazee-Vergas teacher Molly Fairbanks as "Everyday Heroes," county museum director Becky Mitchell and Meadowland Surveying's Scott and Tiffiny Walz for their "Community Spirit," and Midwest Bank's Jessica Burhans for her "commitment to community, compassion and service combined with extraordinary leadership," as the recipient of this year's Bob and Michelle Harris Award. ....
