French luxury beauty brand La Bouche Rouge, which pioneered plastic-free beauty, has been acquired by a new holding company founded by Designer Parfums’ Dilesh Mehta.
Founded in 2017 by ex-L’Oréal Nicolas Gerlier, La Bouche Rouge established itself as an eco-luxury brand with a mission to eliminate single-use plastics from cosmetic products. The brand had a strong influence on the beauty industry’s approach to sustainability thanks to its innovative recyclable and refillable high-end packaging.
