Ozark Radio News spoke to Sharp County Deputy Scott Rose about an individual who is a suspect in a chain of car jackings. This started in Doniphan, where the suspect stole a Red Chevy truck. This vehicle was then abandoned in Hardy and since recovered, but only after a second vehicle was stolen: A black 2001 Nissan Frontier with a Fallen Firefighter tag labeled: "FF BGEM". If you encounter this individual, be warned that they are potentially armed and dangerous, with some sources claiming the man is armed with a pistol and an AK-47. Another source claims the man may be making his way to Springfield. FULTON COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) - Work has begun on a new bridge connecting Sharp County to Fulton County, a bridge that many in the community believe is a lifesaver.
Crews have been out clearing some trees and preparing the area near the Humphreyâs Ford Bridge for its replacement. For James Tubbs and William Smith, volunteer firemen at the 9 Mile Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, itâs something theyâve been waiting on for years.
