Its currently a category 1 hurricane with 90mileperhour winds, moving slowly at six Miles Per Hour out of the west. Currently there is a tornado watch in effect and will likely continue into tonight. Storm surge along the carolina coast will continue into saturday. In some areas sunday night and into monday morning. Expect higher levels of higher tides during high tide cycles and the next high tide cycle along the carolina coast is around noon today eastern time. I do want to emphasize that this is only the beginning. Florence is a very slow mover, well continue to trek will continue to trek along the North Carolina and South Carolina coast line for the next 24 to 36 hours.
