Hollie Doyle equalled her own record with a near 2,522-1 five-timer at Kempton Park on Wednesday night and then insisted: âIâm never satisfied!â
Having become the first female jockey in British racing to ride five winners in one day at Windsor last August the 24 year old, who came third in the 2020 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award, matched the achievement by securing a first success of the year for Madrinho in the Try Our New Super Boosts At Unibet Handicap.
Doyle then proceeded to ride the next four winners, meaning that her five winners this evening came in succession â another first for a female jockey in Britain.
Hollie Doyle rode a brilliant 2,521-1 five-timer at Kempton on Wednesday night.
She completed the achievement when powering home late aboard 8-1 chance Madrinho in the Unibet-sponsored 6f handicap. It was her third win on the night for trainer Tony Carroll who also trained winners Della Mare and 14-1 shot Sir Titan.
Doyle also took the night s featuring Road To The Kentucky Derby Conditions Stakes on Godolphin s Highland Avenue with Laos her other winner.
She almost made it six when travelling strongly on the Alan King-trained Chinese Whisperer in the finale, but the four-year-old was caught out by fast-finishing rivals, eventually resulting in a fourth-place finish behind winner Merweb.
