Some leaders of the top Delhi University colleges believe that this regulation has come in as a good and necessary step as it regulates the number of students being scheduled for every tutorial. Others, however, disagree.
A law student has approached the High Court stating that the University should consider CUET scores for admission into the newly introduced five-year law courses.
According to the letter, Category-1 “universities shall be free to admit foreign students on merit, subject to a maximum of twenty per cent, over and above the strength of their approved domestic students.
