The 1.8-km flyover suffers from potholes, old expansion joints, and a poorly maintained median and walls. Its serpentine curves inadvertently cause congestion during peak hours and have led to collisions and accidents. The flyover s design complexities, along with multi-agency coordination, caused prolonged delays in its construction. The Public Works Department has floated a tender for repairs.
