strikes between israel and hamas. it says it s attacking new hamas targets in the gaza strip, after temporary truce collapsed between israel and the temporary group. this is no strikes into gaza, idf shifting focus to southern gaza, where the hamas leaders they say are hiding amongst civilians. since the truce has expired, israel says it has hit 400 targets inside gaza, and since the end of the cease-fire, the idf says the soldiers have destroyed more hamas tunnels, including one found in the courtyard of the school. in the meantime, hamas is launching targets into israel, new videos from tel aviv shows people running and ducking for cover as sirens run in the streets. israel s defense system intercepted the coming rockets. this was a massive rally where israelis came together to support families of loved ones, still being held hostage by hamas in gaza. the vice president, kamala harris, urging israel to do more to protect civilians inside of gaza. today they spoke to what it
