Training sessions for volunteers will be held by Night Off the Streets, Inc., warming center on Oct. 17 and again on Oct. 21 at the First United Methodist Church in Carson City. For the seventh year, NOTS will provide a place for those without homes to sleep during the winter nights from Nov. 1 through March 31.

A record number of people are seeking shelter in the Night Off the Streets, Inc. (NOTS) Homeless Center in Carson City and additional volunteers are needed to support night-time shifts in the warming center.
